Implemented Speech Recognition and Natural Language Processing techniques towards a product called Mon Ami
Mon Ami is intended as a companion for an aging population and an effective tool for support workers
Collaborated with Dr. Fangju Wang and Tertec Enterprises Inc., a company in Toronto, Ontario to enhance Mon Ami
Applied a significant amount of knowledge of Software Development, Artificial Intelligence, as well as Statistics to develop a series of prototypes and to work closely with Tertec Enterprises throughout the entire design process
Learned about the Speech Recognition and Text-To-Speech Synthesis industries including current techniques, standards, and tools

Worked with Dr. Chris Bauch to design and implement a network model for the transmission and treatment of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
A population-based model was developed in which individuals were succeptable to the HPV
The model was expanded to include criteria such as gender, sexual patterns, relationship development, age, vaccines, as well as treatment
Analysis based on population size, rates of transmition and population development, as well as the introduction of vaccines produced valuable results

Educated groups of over 40 clients on a variety of e-business technologies and software through interactive seminars
